Kissimmee, Fla., March 10, 2017 –Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will help educate attendees about the benefits of better building performance, including energy management services, at the Store Planning, Equipment and Construction Services (SPECS) conference held March 12-14 in Kissimmee.

“Building performance plays a critical role in the highly competitive retail and restaurant industries,” said Al Fullerton, systems leader for Trane. “Understanding building energy use and then leveraging the latest innovations that could be incorporated throughout a chain of stores to lower operating costs can result in major savings”

Fullerton, together with representatives from the Department of Energy (DOE), will participate in a panel discussion about DOE-led efforts to make buildings 20 percent more energy-efficient over the next decade. The discussion will feature Wendy’s, and their successful upgrade efforts featuring innovative solutions and ground-breaking technologies that cut energy use by 24 percent in participating stores. The panel discussion will be held on March 13, from 3:10- 4 p.m.

Attendees will learn about additional options for optimizing retail and restaurant environments by visiting the Trane booth during the event.
